Default WooCommerce download links are long-lived URLs that end up on forums within a week of launch. VaultKey issues signed, single-purpose tokens that expire on a schedule you choose, tie to the purchasing customer, and stop working when limits are hit — so a link posted publicly is worthless to whoever finds it.

License keys with a real activation API
If you sell software, plugins, themes or anything that needs unlocking, VaultKey generates a unique key per sale and exposes a proper REST API for activation, validation and deactivation. Your product calls the API, checks the key, and unlocks. Site limits are enforced server-side, so a key sold for one site cannot quietly run on twenty.

Know exactly what's happening
Every download and every activation is logged with timestamp, IP, user agent and outcome. If someone's key is being used from six countries in a day, you'll see it, and you can revoke or reset from the admin without touching the database.
